No More Games. Time for Compromise.

North Coast Land Holdings, an entity backed by the billion-dollar Fasken Oil and Ranch trust, continues to push forward with an intense development application for the former Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary site. Unbelievably, the latest development plan is actually more intensive than all of the previous proposals.

Today, North Coast is attempting to change our Strawberry Community Plan to allow for all of the following:

  • 1,000 student commuter school
  • 384 to 696 housing units
  • 267,354 sq ft  residential care facility
  • 17,000 sq ft fitness center
  • 3,000 sq ft preschool

A development of this scale would create a traffic and safety nightmare for the entire Strawberry/Tiburon peninsula and bring change that isn't within the character of our community.

It’s time to stop playing games with the community. Strawberry residents support a compromise approach that creates much-needed housing and senior living. This doesn’t need to be another long and ugly battle. Let’s get real.
